Job Title: Religious Education Coordinator

 The role of a Religious Education Coordinator is a leadership position that oversees the spiritual and ethical development of the school community.

  • Deliver an engaging and informative curriculum that explores faith traditions, encouraging critical thinking about values, purpose, and moral responsibility.

 Key responsibilities include guiding liturgies, social justice initiatives, and faith-based programs to empower students with compassion, respect, and integrity.

 This appointment is temporary to replace an employee on leave. 

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver a rich and engaging curriculum that fosters critical thinking about faith traditions, values, purpose, and moral responsibility.
  2. Guide liturgies, social justice initiatives, and faith-based programs to shape a school culture that empowers students with compassion, respect, and integrity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching.
  • Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
  • Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Be a practicing Catholic.
  • Provide a reference from a current Parish Priest.
  • Have completed or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
