Job Title: Tutoring Programme Lead

">Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our tutoring programme in partner schools. As a Tutoring Programme Lead, you will oversee the logistics and organisation of each school's tutoring programme, working closely with schools, pupils, and volunteer tutors.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Programme Delivery: Deliver Action Tutoring's tutoring programmes in partner schools, ensuring effective delivery and engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of tutoring, engage in quality assurance processes, and provide feedback to volunteer tutors.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers.
  • Data Management: Update and accurately maintain Action Tutoring's database, collecting timely data for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
  • Reporting: Proactively report to the Programme Manager on the details of Action Tutoring's operations in their partner schools.
">Requirements
  • Experience: Experience of working with young people and/or project management.
  • Evidence of Interest: Evidence of an interest in education and/or the third sector.
  • Independence and Initiative: Ability to work independently and with initiative, often organising your own time to meet deadlines.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Strong aptitude for developing relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Adaptability, resilience, and ability to cope with some uncertainty.
