Airtree Ventures is a leading venture capital fund focused on the Australian and New Zealand markets. As our Data Lead, you will play a crucial role in optimising and scaling our existing data infrastructure to inform investment decisions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Optimise and scale our Snowflake data warehouse to meet growing data needs efficiently.
  • Enhance and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines built with dbt and AWS lambda functions, focusing on performance, reliability, and extensibility.
  • Refine and expand AWS Lambda functions to support data processing and integration needs.
  • Collaborate with investment partners to evolve data-driven tools and improve surface promising investment opportunities.
  • Lead portfolio company analysis and reporting, streamlining processes for efficient quarterly reporting.
  • Iterate on existing dashboards and insight packs to provide actionable insights as Airtree's needs evolve.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement in data models and infrastructure, implementing best practices and leveraging emerging technologies.

We offer a competitive salary of $140,000 - $160,000 per annum, plus excellent benefits including 5 weeks annual leave, 16 weeks paid parental leave, and an annual budget for training and self-development. Our team enjoys a flexible (WFH days), supportive and family-friendly work environment.
