**Digital Design Educator Role

The School of Business and Creative Industries is seeking an expert educator to contribute to learning and teaching practices within the design discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

- To develop and deliver higher education curricula in digital design, creative technology, and game design courses.
- To equip students with creative, technical, and theoretical skills for the age of creative AI and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

- Completion of a doctoral qualification in a relevant digital design or creative technology related field;
- Proficiency in advanced technical skills, such as programming, game engines, advanced computing technologies, creative AI tools, or computational design methodologies;
- A solid record as an effective educator, with the ability to design, develop, and deliver educational programs in digital design, creative technology, and game design courses.

Desirable:

- Research expertise in advanced topics, such as human-computer interaction, augmented and virtual reality, and 3D animation.
- Expertise in game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity). Industry certifications in programming, game development, digital design tools, interactive systems, UX/UI design, computational creativity, or emerging technologies such as AI and AR/VR.
