The Australian Corporate Solutions Group (CSG) at Citi originates, structures, and executes a wide range of risk management solutions for corporate and public sector clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate, structure, and execute structured solutions for corporate and public sector entities in coordination with various structuring and trading desks at Citi Markets.
  • Originate and execute meaningful and landmark big and episodic transactions.
  • Understand global markets and various derivatives across asset classes, including IRS, XCCY Swaps, and Options.
  • Price all components of derivative transactions and analyze associated risks, liaising with internal trading and structuring teams to construct bespoke solutions.
  • Grasp various concepts related to derivative credit exposure, calculating XVA and funding impact of derivative products.
  • Engage in conversations with Credit Risk to obtain pre-trade credit approvals and calculate derivative pre-settlement exposures.
  • Develop strong sales skills to engage with senior client contacts, understand client needs, and deliver appropriate products and solutions.
  • Develop the Citi franchise with relevant corporate clients, serving as a key partner to Corporate Banking and CCB Coverage, CMO, and IBD.
  • Work in close partnership with control functions, including Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance, to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance, and supervision, and ethics.
  • Assess risk and reward of transactions, demonstrating proper consideration for the firm's reputation.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in client-facing roles with a proven track record of growing business and maintaining relationships.
  • Technical skills necessary to originate, understand, and price derivative transactions.
  • Strong judgment to evaluate risks to clients and Citi.
  • Ability to build effective internal partnerships and develop an entrepreneurial approach for business origination and developing new relationships.
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
