We're looking for a senior investment professional to join our Portfolio Risk Team, a core component of our Investment Team. As a Manager, Portfolio Risk, you'll play a vital role in managing portfolio risks, working closely with our Chief Investment Officer, Investment Committee, and senior stakeholders.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and refine the whole-of-portfolio risk framework, monitoring key risks and analysing their interactions.
  • Provide guidance on risk positions and their impact on overall portfolio outcomes, ensuring our framework remains effective and aligned with our objectives.
  • Lead comprehensive portfolio risk assessments, conducting scenario analysis, stress testing, and sensitivity assessments across asset classes.
  • Design key quantitative risk metrics, helping the team better understand the interplay between various investment opportunities.
About You

We're looking for a senior investment professional with a background in risk management within the financial services or investment management industries. You should have a deep understanding of multi-asset class investment management, with expertise in portfolio construction, investment strategy, or specific asset classes.

You'll need to hold a tertiary degree in economics, commerce, finance, or mathematics, and ideally, postgraduate studies or professional accreditation in a related field such as finance, econometrics, or actuarial studies.

You should be able to distil complex concepts into actionable recommendations, with strong analytical skills and a strategic thinking approach. You'll need to be highly organised, capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently, and maintain a focus on both the big picture and the intricate details of portfolio risks.
