Room Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Room Leader to join our team at Mayfield Early Education Dandenong.

About the Role

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum that fosters the holistic development of each child, creating a foundation for a lifetime of learning.

You will lead by example, inspiring and guiding a team of educators to deliver exceptional care and education, while cultivating strong relationships with parents and introducing new and creative teaching methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes the holistic development of each child.
  • Lead a team of educators to deliver exceptional care and education.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with parents and the community.
  • Introduce new and creative teaching methodologies to keep the learning environment fresh and engaging.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in ECEC (or ACECQA approved equivalent).
  • A valid WWCC/Blue Card.
  • Child protection / Red Nose / Food Safety training (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working knowledge of Child Safe Standards.
  • Genuine motivation and passion for the Early Childhood sector.
  • Knowledge of EYLF and the NQF.
