Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Application Support Specialist.

This position involves ensuring the stability of our systems, providing support to users directly, and improving processes to enhance efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain live production environments, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure critical trading workflows continue without interruption.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for local traders and analysts, offering support from pre-trade pricing through to post-trade risk and valuation tools.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Europe and Asia in a 'follow-the-sun' model, handing over issues and sharing knowledge.
  • Document recurring problems, suggest system enhancements, and help refine monitoring tools and procedures.
Key Requirements:
  • At least 5 years' experience in application support within trading, financial markets, or energy/commodities.
  • A strong technical background in Windows environments, SQL, and scripting (PowerShell, Python or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with both technical and business stakeholders.
