This role is pivotal in addressing family violence through effective intervention strategies. The position is part-time and permanent, situated within a not-for-profit health organization committed to community well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and respond to referrals related to men's readiness for change.
  • Facilitate men's behavior change groups across designated local government areas.
  • Collaborate with Family Safety Advocates to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Provide case management and support to men affected by family violence.

Qualifications:

  • A relevant undergraduate degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • Completion of the Victorian Risk Assessment and Risk Management Framework training.
  • Experience observing group sessions related to men's behavior change.
  • Possession of a current Victorian Driver's License and Working with Children Check.
  • Desirable: Graduate Diploma or Certificate in Men's Family Violence and experience facilitating behavior change groups.
