Clinical Nurse Specialist Renal and Haemodialysis Position

Join the Far West NSW Local Health District as a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 Renal and Haemodialysis and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care in a supportive and multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
About the RoleAs a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide person-centred, evidence-based nursing care to our renal dialysis patients, developing your skills and progressing your career with more responsibility and autonomy than in larger hospitals.

To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of the specified post-graduate qualification
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and ability to exercise autonomous decision making in providing complex care
- Demonstrated application of professional and ethical boundaries to the delivery of patient care in the context of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking in the planning and delivery of individualised person-centred patient care
- Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner, and personally resolve conflicts when they arise
- Demonstrated commitment to work and partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients, families and employees in a culturally safe and respectful way, to enhance health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients
- Demonstrated effective, excellent written and verbal communication skills and information technology skills
- Ability and willingness to travel for work purposes between Broken Hill Health Service and Wilcannia Multipurpose Service
