Support Specialist Role

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of others by providing support with daily living tasks and activities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with household chores and grocery shopping, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with medication management, ensuring their health and wellbeing needs are met.
  • Foster social inclusion and community access for clients, helping them to build meaningful relationships and connections.
  • Support clients in developing independent living skills, empowering them to live fulfilling lives.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies, working closely with clients and their families to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Provide personal care, demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Blue Card for working with children and NDIS worker screening clearance.
  • Possess a driver's license and own vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
