Event Support Team Member

About the Role
We are seeking current Macquarie University students who would like to participate and support large scale, vibrant and fast-paced recruitment events, such as Open Day and more.
This casual role will provide assistance in areas such as event logistics, administration and customer service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the set up/pack down of events and associated logistics and delivery.
- Providing general information about the events and assistance to potential students, parents, and other stakeholders at recruitment events.
- Providing directions to event attendees to get around campus and the shuttle bus, assisting the flow of entry/exit to or at event venues.
- Assisting with general event administration, such as data collection at the events for student experience activities, checking in and registering potential students/parents to program activities, campus tours and information sessions.
- Assisting with staff catering, e.g. stocking food and beverages in staff kitchenette areas and receiving staff lunch deliveries.
- Assisting with printing, laminating, labelling, stocktaking, merchandising, and packing as required.

The salary for this role is approximately $40.23 per hour plus superannuation. Multiple casual roles are available, based at Wallumattagal campus, North Ryde. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience and contribute to the success of Macquarie University's Future Students team.
