Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate design documentation across multidisciplinary teams with ease.
  • Lead 2D and 3D CAD design work for civil and mining infrastructure projects nationwide.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings from concept to construction documentation.
  • Perform scaling, dimensioning, and layout work using standard procedures.
  • Conduct 3D modelling and quantitative analysis with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee and quality-check drafting deliverables from junior designers.
  • Guide and mentor early career team members while contributing to a high-performing national team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to support project feasibility, design, and construction.
  • Drive continuous improvement by enhancing workflows and CAD standards.
About You:
  • Hold a diploma or advanced diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Bring 10+ years of experience in civil or mining infrastructure design (mining experience is beneficial).
  • Possess strong technical expertise in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (essential); familiarity with MicroStation is desirable.
  • Have proven experience preparing earthworks and infrastructure designs, including dams, levees, pipelines, and hardstands.
  • Be skilled in processing survey data and technical documentation.
  • Excel at leading, collaborating, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Be passionate about mentoring, innovation, and pushing boundaries in CAD excellence.
  • Able to work independently and lead delivery within a national team setting.
