Apprentice Trainer and Mentorship Role

This is an opportunity to work with a team that shares a passion for training and mentoring apprentices in the construction trade.

The role involves developing positive working relationships and rapport with apprentices and employers through regular communication and development of training plans aligned to the needs of the worksite.

You will provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to apprentices to ensure positive progress and outcomes, including on-site training and practical assessment.

Maintaining efficient and effective filing and records management to meet all audit requirements and organisational policies and procedures.

Providing your input as part of the training team to support continual development and enhancement of training and assessment resources.

Regularly visiting employer work sites to provide onsite training and practical assessment. A motor vehicle or allowance will be provided for this purpose.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing training plans
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and guidance to apprentices
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting
  • Contributing to the development of training resources

To be considered for this role, you should have a Certificate III in Carpentry, eligibility to obtain a Blue Card, current open driver's licence, and well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.

A competitive salary package will be offered commensurate with skills and experience, including a work car, phone, and laptop.
