Job Title: Heavy Equipment Hydraulic Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Hydraulic Specialist to join our busy Hydraulics workshop in Dandenong on a 5 x 2 (Monday – Friday) roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for the inspection and repair of hydraulic cylinder components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and efficiency.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Attend and contribute to the daily Morning CATS Meeting.
  • Set up and use specialized tooling to disassemble, inspect, and reassemble hydraulic cylinders with new parts.
  • Report stock levels of consumables to assist in planning future works.
  • Maintain machinery and equipment and record within William Adams systems.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and reports relating to completed works.
  • Ensure all tooling is in good condition and suitable for tasks performed.

About You:

We are looking for a skilled professional with:

  • Experience in a workshop environment, preferably in heavy earthmoving, engineering, or automotive industries.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic cylinders, although not essential.
  • Welding capability.
  • A Forklift License, although not required.
  • High attention to detail.
