**Role Overview**:
The Vehicle Compliance Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that all equipment distributed by KOR adheres to relevant Australian Standards, Road Vehicle Standards, and Dangerous Goods Standards. This position involves managing heavy vehicle compliance for our manufactured and distributed equipment and collaborating with various KOR functions, including pre-delivery, after-sales, supply chain, and logistics.

**Some of the primary duties this role will perform**:

- Review product specifications and designs to ensure compliance with Australian regulations.
- Manage engineering compliance for manufactured and distributed equipment, including NHVR, ADR, AS, DG, and ISO standards.
- Collaborate with design engineers and suppliers to implement necessary compliance modifications.
- Monitor updates to standards and regulations, engaging in industry events to stay informed.
- Support preparation of technical documentation for regulatory submissions and approvals.
- Liaise with external agencies for timely approvals and provide compliance advice for aftersales issues.

**To thrive in this position, you will**:

- A relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or similar) or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven work experience with Australian Standards, Road Vehicle Standards, and Dangerous Goods Standards.
- Familiarity with regulatory submission processes and maintaining compliance documentation, including product approvals.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulatory documents into actionable requirements.
- Strong communication and time management skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to work well under pressure.
