Key responsibilities may include:

  • Organising engaging onsite activities such as bingo, floor bowls, craft and special events
  • Developing and implementing social, recreational and cultural activities
  • Assisting residents on bus trips and community outings
  • Supporting resident participation and offering warm companionship

To be successful, you will need:

  • A Diploma or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or willingness to obtain)
  • Initiative and creative flair
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively and prioritise tasks
  • Empathy and a passion for supporting older Australians
