Medical Professionals Wanted for Primary Care Role
">About the OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled Medical Officer to join our team in a part-time capacity, working 2 days per week.
This role involves delivering primary medical care to Defence personnel, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and providing pre/post-deployment medical support.
The ideal candidate will have unrestricted AHPRA registration, relevant experience as a General Practitioner, and Australian citizenship for security clearance purposes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality primary medical care to Defence personnel
- Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care
- Assess fitness for duty and provide medical advice to Defence leadership
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
- FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration
- Minimum 2 years' full-time (or part-time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 years
- Australian Citizen - for Baseline Security Clearance requirements
- Career stability with government-backed contracts
- Predictable hours and work-life balance
