Primary Care Medical Officer

We are seeking a Primary Care Medical Officer to join our multidisciplinary team at Albatross Health Centre, Nowra. This role provides an opportunity for you to make a real impact in supporting Australia's Defence personnel.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policies, working collaboratively with the team to support Defence personnel. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policies
- Working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to support Defence personnel
- Assessing fitness for duty and providing pre/post-deployment medical support
- Providing technical advice to Defence leadership
- Working across outpatient and inpatient care settings as needed
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- Unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner with AHPRA
- FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration
- Minimum 2 years' full-time (or part-time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 years
- Australian Citizenship – for Baseline Security Clearance requirements
