Job Title: Business Performance Analyst

About the Role:

As a seasoned business analyst, you will be responsible for providing expert financial analysis and decision support to our marketing team.

Main Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • Analyse market share performance and key activities in the market, evaluating trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop actionable insights into market share movements at total market and category level, identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop a comprehensive marketing spend budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and track budget spend, providing regular updates and recommendations for optimization.
  • Work closely with senior leads to develop an SG&A budget that aligns with business priorities.
  • Review and track budget spend, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Develop a robust analytical framework to review the Australian alcoholic beverage market, tracking competitor and product behavior to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to assess the viability of new proposed products for the market.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to bring together financial implications of proposed product specifications, build price chains, and factor supply chain implications.
  • Evaluate inputs critically, challenging and validating assumptions.
  • Establish a clear post-evaluation and exit strategy matrix, setting thresholds for success.
  • Design and implement automation tools to enhance decision-making within the marketing function, including size of opportunity assessment for innovation and conversion tools.
