Production Scheduling Manager Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Scheduling Manager to lead our team in ensuring that work centers have a prioritized list of work orders to execute.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the roll-out of factory scheduler and supporting business processes where appropriate. They will also drive the development of business process, tools, and know-how to support production scheduling.

Key to this role is partnering with production and supply chain management teams to ensure achievement of the schedule. The individual will escalate effectively and appropriately where schedule achievement is threatened and support business development to assure future capability to achieve forward schedule requirements.

  • Lead the implementation of the factory scheduler.
  • Support the development of business process, tools, and know-how to enhance production scheduling efficiency.
  • Partner with production and supply chain management teams to ensure schedule achievement.

This position requires a strong record of achievement in a manufacturing environment, with 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, leading a medium to large team in a demanding and complex organization. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
