About the Role

As a Senior Manager, you'll provide technical accounting advice and support to clients and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical accounting support to audit and client-facing engagement teams
  • Reviewing and assisting with financial statement disclosures
  • Offering specialist technical advice on IFRS and Australian Accounting Standards for complex transactions
  • Working with clients to prepare high-quality financial statements
  • Implementing services for new accounting standards
  • Acting as a technical consultant for accounting matters
  • Performing technical reviews of financial statements
  • Contributing to training materials and programs on accounting matters
  • Preparing and delivering financial reporting and training
  • Researching and developing responses to changes in Accounting Standards
  • Participating in national meetings to discuss technical queries and ensure consistency
  • Assisting with the growth of the IFRS Advisory team
What You'll Need to Succeed

We're looking for a passionate and enthusiastic accounting professional with a strong knowledge of IFRS and Australian Accounting Standards. You'll need to have experience in analysing accounting issues and presenting viable solutions, as well as strong client and stakeholder focus. CA or CPA qualifications are essential, and you'll need to have clear and effective communication skills and well-developed interpersonal skills.
