Support Care Professional

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide high-quality in-home support services to our valued customers.

This role enables our customers to live independently in their own homes, with the assistance of a Support Care Professional.

About Our Organisation

Our organisation is a leading provider of in-home aged care and disability support services across Australia. We have been supporting older people and those living with disability to live independently for over 15 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming, and medication management
  • Offer social support, including transportation for social activities, shopping, and medical appointments
  • Assist with domestic duties, such as light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Help customers use aids and equipment, and provide support for those with complex needs
  • Monitor customer well-being and report on progress
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain good working relationships
  • Comfortable using technology, including mobile apps for roster management and customer notes/feedback
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance/Criminal Record Check
  • Proof of vaccination (where relevant)
  • Current First Aid certificate/CPR
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
  • Smartphone with internet access
  • Working with Children Check (preferred)
  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services (preferred)
