Sugar Refinery Technician

In the role of Refinery Operator, you will be tasked with managing the refinery plant in a secure and efficient manner, while adhering to quality standards and established protocols. Your efforts will align with Sugar Australia's commitment to fulfilling customer requirements in sugar production by operating a top-tier manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental regulations pertinent to the facility and comply with Wilmar's onsite guidelines. Participate in safety risk evaluations, recognize hazards, and report safety incidents to the appropriate personnel or complete an incident report. Operate machinery and equipment on-site safely and competently while following established procedures. Contribute to identifying efficiencies in processes, equipment, and resources to reduce operational costs and minimize waste. Utilize SCADA systems and testing equipment to verify, control, and process input products suitable for subsequent processing stages. Conduct all quality-related inspections and accurately document all information/results at designated times. Identify and report any quality issues related to food products. Actively engage in the Achievement Plan and monthly milestone processes to foster a culture of performance and development. Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues as necessary. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships across the organization.Qualifications and Skills:
High School Certificate. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work shifts. Capable of problem-solving and conceptual thinking. Effectively manage pressure and work-related stress. Enjoy working collaboratively in a team setting, demonstrating fairness and equity in interactions. Previous experience in a sugar factory environment with shift work is advantageous.
