Key Responsibilities
  • Operate refinery plant equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the identification of process improvements and implement changes to optimize production efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless plant operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in safety risk assessments and identify potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Monitor and control the SCADA system to verify and process input products suitable for the next step of the process.
  • Complete quality-related checks and record information accurately and on time.
  • Proactively engage in the achievement plan and monthly milestone process to drive performance and development.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to others as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Certificate
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Able to work shift work
  • Able to solve problems and think conceptually
  • Effectively manages pressure and work-related stress
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Previous experience with shift work in a sugar factory environment is desirable
