Job Title: Wellness Advocate

Role Overview: As a Wellness Advocate, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and inclusive environment for individuals participating in our mental health day program.

As a Wellness Advocate, your primary responsibility is to develop and implement strategies that promote emotional well-being and resilience among participants. This includes creating engaging activities that foster social connections, self-awareness, and stress management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in a field such as psychology, social work, or community development
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering wellness programs, preferably in a community or healthcare setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to build strong relationships with participants, staff, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on finding solutions that benefit all parties
