Job Role: Community Development Coordinator

About the Job:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Community Development Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing effective partnerships with agencies, community groups, families, and children to enhance parenting and community capacity within the Children's Centre and wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with agencies, community groups, families, and children to facilitate the coordination of family and community programs.
  • Coordinate and undertake the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of community programs and services using community development methodologies.
  • Implement an interagency approach to contribute to capacity building of children, families, communities, and other family support services.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in social work, community development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in community development, partnership building, and program coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
