The Senior Project Planning & Control Analyst plays a crucial role in facilitating the implementation and management of systems designed to plan and monitor project performance, ensuring compliance with both customer and corporate standards.

You will collaborate with a local team, supported by global expertise and a customized professional development program to ensure your success and the success of your projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that performance and financial reports are generated in line with the reporting schedule, providing thorough analysis and evaluation of ongoing project performance.
  • Advise project managers and control account managers on planning, analyzing, and evaluating project cost and schedule performance.
  • Maintain the integrity of data included in performance reports and estimates at completion.
  • Promote and demonstrate a culture of continuous improvement, values, and methodologies within the business.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Earned Value Management Systems, project planning and scheduling, risk management, and program management.
  • Ability to create and produce standard reports and metrics, interpreting them across various functional areas.
  • Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of assumptions in Estimates at Completion and their impact on sales and earnings.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • A University Degree in Business, Accounting, or Engineering, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven customer focus and engagement.
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively across job functions and with external stakeholders as necessary.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for facilitating decision-making processes.

Candidates must be Australian citizens and/or eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Defence security clearance.
