Senior Project Planning and Control Analyst

At Raytheon Australia, we are seeking a skilled Senior Project Planning and Control Analyst to join our team. As a trusted capability partner to the Australian Defence Force, we provide technology solutions that protect and secure our sovereign projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate performance and finance reports are generated, providing analysis and assessment of ongoing project performance.
  • Guide project managers and control account managers in planning, analysing, and assessing project cost and schedule performance.
  • Ensure data integrity in performance reports and estimates at completion.
  • Assist in promoting a continuous improvement model, values, and approaches to business.
  • Understand and apply Earned Value Management Systems, project planning and scheduling, risk management, and program management.
  • Create and generate standard reports and metrics, interpreting them across functional boundaries.
  • Demonstrate an intermediate level understanding of assumptions in Estimates at Completion and their impact on sales and earnings.
Requirements:
  • University Degree in Business, Accounting, or Engineering, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated customer focus.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across job functions and with external customers and vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to facilitate decision-making.

Successful candidates must be Australian citizens or able to obtain and maintain Australian Defence security clearance. Eligibility can be found at https://www.defence.gov.au/Security/.
