Job Title

A Finance Officer role is available, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization.

  • This position involves providing financial support to the Secretariat, including accounts payable and receivable functions, data collection, and government accountability reporting.
  • The successful candidate will administer reconciliation of credit card statements, bank statements, and other charge accounts.
  • They will prepare the fortnightly payroll function, including relevant wages and superannuation.
About the Role

In this key position, you will be responsible for carrying out various administrative tasks, including supplier invoice processing, travel claims, program payments, school levies, coding, and banking.

You will also assist with data collection and government accountability, as well as preparing month-end and taxation reconciliations.

This role requires excellent numeracy skills, attention to detail, and accuracy, along with experience in payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other general accounting functions.

A certificate or degree-level qualification in accounting or a related field is highly desirable.
