
Financial Systems Administrator

We're proud to have recently received the Forward Thinker Award at Workday Elevate Auckland. As we transition from Core implementation to BAU, our focus is on strategic growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement. To support this, we're hiring two Financial Systems Administrators to join our fantastic Finance team, one role is more advanced, while the other is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in financial systems.

You'll be responsible for the maintenance and ongoing development of Heartland's core financial systems, with a focus on Workday, enterprise-wide reporting, data governance, and system project delivery.
Key responsibilities :
- Support the ongoing design, configuration, enhancements, and reporting for Workday
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to drive Workday adoption and ease of use
- Own and deliver system projects that improve functionality and efficiency
- Configure and maintain Workday security settings and controls
- Provide business, system and data analytics to support effective decision-making
- Develop and configure business process flows with a continuous improvement mindset.

You're a proactive problem-solver with strong technical and business analytical skills. You're confident working across teams, managing multiple projects, and translating business needs into system solutions.
You're a pro with :
- Proven Financial systems experience
- Hands-on experience with Workday configuration (Workday Financials preferred)
- Solid understanding of finance functions
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills
- Ability to manage multiple continuous improvement initiatives and stakeholders
- Exposure to financial or data-driven reporting
- Chartered Accountant qualification or plans to study towards one.
