Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Dental Assistant to join our Casual Pool of Dental Assistants. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients by providing excellent customer service and ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their dental experience.
- Prepare patients and facilities for dental treatment, ensuring a safe and clean environment for our patients.
- Deliver quality chairside assistance to our dentists, providing support and expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
- Provide instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
- Maintain and implement infection control standards and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Patient care from entry to the surgery and recall management, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our patients and dentists.
Requirements
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Flexibility to work across our practices, with a willingness to travel to different locations as required.
- Current Working with Children's Check, or a willingness to obtain one.
- Drivers Licence, Car and willingness to travel, with a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record.
- Dental Assisting experience, with a minimum of 6 months+ experience in a dental setting.
- Passionate about customer service and patient care, with a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.
- Organised with attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- A proven track record of punctuality and reliability, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
- Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner.
- 'Can do' attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
