Lab Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled laboratory leader to oversee the quality and reliability of our concrete and quarry products.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and internal protocols. They will also supervise and mentor lab technicians and quality control staff, coordinate sampling and testing, and maintain accurate records for audits and NATA compliance.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in laboratory management to lead a small technical team and contribute to the success of our business.
About You- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a laboratory environment within the concrete or quarrying industry
- Prior experience supervising or leading a small technical or laboratory team
- Strong understanding of aggregate and concrete testing procedures and standards
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and documentation
- Certificate IV or higher in Laboratory Techniques, Construction Materials Testing, or a related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of NATA accreditation processes (desirable)
