About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the mill network strategy, identifying opportunities to strengthen fabric capabilities, and leading relationships with key mills. This role requires extensive experience in raw materials sourcing and management within the fashion, apparel, or homewares industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive mill network strategy to meet the needs of our brands.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen fabric capabilities through geographic rebalancing and rationalisation.
  • Negotiate cost-effective agreements with suppliers and drive performance improvement.
  • Support design teams with innovation and technical knowledge to bring the best designs to market.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of mill performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and cost management.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in raw materials sourcing and management within the fashion, apparel, or homewares industry.
  • Proven track record of success in managing supplier relationships, negotiating costs, and driving performance improvement.
  • Technical expertise in fabric construction, weaving, knitting, and dyeing processes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and ethical compliance practices in the textile industry.
