About this role:

This position plays a critical part in implementing and delivering Victoria Legal Aid's AI roadmap. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to design and deploy innovative AI-driven solutions.

Key responsibilities include assessing, procuring, implementing, and maintaining AI systems that meet organisational standards for compliance, performance, and long-term sustainability. Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential to ensure AI solutions are feasible, fit-for-purpose, and secure.

The successful candidate will have proficiency in evaluating and managing AI systems, experience in leveraging platforms and approaches such as cloud-based AI services, data pipelines, and DataOps practices. Strong leadership skills are required to coordinate AI roadmaps and align AI projects with organisational goals.
