Bar Service Porter Position Overview

Job Description:

The primary function of this role is to maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment within the bar area.

Responsibilities include ensuring ample supplies of glassware, napkins, straws, ice, and garnishes are available during service periods.

  • Maintain bar area relative to supplies and equipment
  • Remove empty or soiled articles in a timely manner
  • Perform work assignments directed by bartender or beverage management

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. T.I.P.S. certification and Sanitation certification is preferred.

Requirements
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures
  • Complete all established bar setup duties in a timely manner

Key responsibilities may also include assisting with maintaining organized storage areas, rotating stock and supplies, and reporting any issues to management.
