We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

\
  • Provide recommendations and solutions covering multiple areas of Human Resources, including employment training, employee development, communications, compensation, benefits, record administration, employee or labor relations, organizational planning, change management, and other services.
  • Partner with hiring managers to provide advice and guidance on recruitment and selection strategies and processes.
  • Develop and implement new policies, practices, and programs to meet organizational needs.
  • Oversee talent acquisitions practices and build awareness of equal employment opportunity and legislation, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Conduct exit interviews and report data confidentially for improvement purposes.
  • Lead the monitoring and reporting of KPIs and Professional Development Plans.

Requirements:

\
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as in-house HR Manager within a financial service industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.
  • In-depth knowledge of Human Resource organizational policies and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of Generalist Human Resources best practice.
  • Excellent communication skills and highly service-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation and practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; including confidence interacting with senior business leaders, stakeholder management, and people engagement.
  • Demonstrated capacity in managing difficult situations with tact, confidence, and confidentiality.
  • Outstanding organizational skills; including accuracy, attention to detail, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
