Road Worker - Multiple Positions Available.
About the RoleThis is a full-time ongoing position responsible for performing routine inspection, maintenance and construction activities on roads and bridges. The incumbent will be required to perform manual labor-intensive tasks in accordance with established safety, environmental and quality procedures.
The role involves executing work tasks against traffic management plans and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include project delivery, critical thinking and problem-solving, innovation and continuous improvement, and policy design and development.
Key Skills and Qualifications- Manual labor skills, particularly in a construction environment;
- Ability to work safely and follow established safety procedures;
- Good communication and teamwork skills;
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills;
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification;
