Director of Quality Control

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Head of Quality Assurance to lead their Brisbane facility, a state-of-the-art site specializing in clinical and commercial manufacturing, single-use biologics technology. The position requires strong leadership skills to oversee and provide quality assurance oversight, ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Quality Assurance function, responsible for effective implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Pharmaceutical Quality System.
- Ensure cGMP compliance according to regulatory expectations, monitor and control the manufacturing environment, review/approve deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and quality system records.
- Advocate for continuous improvement of quality systems, including customer complaint management, supplier management, material management, deviation management, change control, document management, and audit management.
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a quality leadership role or significant leadership position within the biological and/or pharmaceutical industry, with demonstrated quality leadership skills for a contract manufacturer preferred.

- External: Customers, Health Authorities/Regulatory Agencies, Suppliers/Vendors.
