About the Role:

We're on the hunt for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our growing team as a Pest Control Technician. Whether you're a seasoned professional, someone who's never stepped foot in the pest control industry at all, or just starting out, we're looking for someone with passion, drive, and a strong desire to help people. As part of the Stewarts team, you'll be working in a dynamic, customer-facing role where you'll tackle all types of pest issues, from general treatments to more complex challenges like termite problems. If you love solving problems and leaving clients pest-free with a smile, this is the role for you Don't worry if you're new to the industry – we're ready to provide free training to help you get started.

Training and Support:

If you've never been in the pest control industry before, don't worry We are fully prepared to teach you everything you need to know. We will pay for you to complete all the necessary certificates required to become a fully certified Pest Control Technician. You'll receive the best possible start in your new career, with hands-on training from one of our senior technicians who has over 40 years of experience in the industry. While working alongside this expert, you'll learn the ins and outs of pest control, including the best-kept secrets and techniques to succeed. During this time, we'll support you in completing your qualifications, and all costs will be fully covered by Stewarts. Once you've completed your training and become fully qualified, we'll empower you to work independently in the field, supporting our customers with all their pest control needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pest control treatments (general pests, termites, and other challenges).
• Use your problem-solving skills to tackle unique pest problems that others might not be able to fix.
• Build relationships with our loyal customers, many of whom have been with Stewarts for decades.
• Keep accurate records of treatments and customer interactions.
• Stay updated on the latest pest control techniques and industry best practices.
• If required, complete training to get certified as a Pest Control Technician – fully paid and supported by Stewarts.

About You:

You're a great fit if you:

• Hold a current Pest Management License and an Australian Manual Driver's License (Preferred but not required).
• Have a knack for working with people – you enjoy explaining services and solving problems.
• Are physically fit and able to handle the demands of the role (lifting up to 25 kg, crawling, climbing, and working in tight spaces).
• Have a positive attitude and a passion for helping people.
• Are committed to delivering top-quality service every time.

Requirements:

• Current Pest Management License (Preferred but not required) – we are prepared to provide training for you.
• Current Australian Manual Driver's License.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 kg.
• Ability to work in various physical conditions, including small spaces.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical checks, reference checks, and a police clearance.
• A desire to grow in the pest control industry and learn from experienced mentors.
