We are seeking an experienced Privacy and Information Manager to join our Legal Service unit on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a leading government organisation, we recognise the importance of privacy protection and responsible information management.

The Privacy and Information Manager will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with privacy laws, managing information risks, and provide high quality decisions on matters within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ongoing review and continuous improvement of GIPA Privacy Systems and Processes
- Provide day-to-day advice and support on the GIPA and Privacy Act
- Oversee searches and provide evidence including retrieved documents

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business, law, or relevant experience in a corporate environment
- Proven ability to deal with sensitive, complex matters
- Ability to establish and maintain credible stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare high quality written reports or correspondence
- Analytical mindset and methodical approach to work
- High attention to detail and the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
