At our organization, we are looking for an experienced technician to fill the role of Customer Support Specialist.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing self-service checkouts, POS terminals, and other devices. They will work independently in the field and office, requiring frequent travel and manual handling of equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair technical issues with self-service checkouts, POS terminals, and other devices.
  • Inventory Management: Manage parts inventory and ensure it is well-organized.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Autonomy and Adaptability: Work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing situations.
  • Customer Interaction: Travel to client sites and interact with customers to resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: Previous experience in PC hardware and software repair is essential.
  • Electromechanical Device Repair: Experience in repairing electromechanical devices is advantageous.
  • Licensing and Certification: NMI Verification Licence is beneficial, and a valid driver's license is required.
  • Experience and Education: A minimum of 2 years' experience with electromechanical equipment and relevant education or training.
