About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Analyst to join our team at The Star Entertainment Group. As a Senior Controls Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks within our financial and operational controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct business analysis to identify requirements and document process maps.
  • Act as the liaison between business units, technology, risk, and compliance teams.
  • Conduct deep dives into incidents and control deficiencies to understand root causes and develop appropriate plans to address gaps.
  • Work with the business to document and test controls.
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and work with other properties to understand processes to put forward recommendations to business owners and the controls team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience providing business analysis in a commercial or technology organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills, specifically within process management and documentation.
  • Advanced analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in terms of written (documentation) and verbal (e.g., facilitating workshops).
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or technology or accreditation in Business Analysis desirable.
