About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Colonial First State. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of business solutions by acting as a communication bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain business cases by clearly articulating scope and requirements.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to document and understand current data architecture, including data sources, data flows, integrations, and storage systems.
  • Create data models, workflow diagrams, and process maps to illustrate requirements and processes.
  • Work with data architects, modellers, and engineers to design target data models on Azure Databricks, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and addressing business requirements and challenges.
  • Support risk and issue management by proactively identifying, reporting, and resolving risks and issues.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or related role with a strong focus on data architecture.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture principles, including data modelling, ETL processes, data governance, data quality, privacy, and security controls.
  • Experience working in a large, complex technology environment and dealing with diverse stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of the Australian Superannuation and Retirement industry, business, and systems is desirable.
