Job Title: Garden Club Assistant

Garden Club Assistants play a vital role in bringing joy and fulfillment to the lives of our residents. This engaging and rewarding opportunity allows you to contribute to the well-being of others while developing your skills and experience.

About the Role:

As a Garden Club Assistant, you will work closely with our residents to maintain and plant cottage gardens, promoting a sense of community and companionship. You will help guide residents in gardening activities, providing support and encouragement as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and plant cottage gardens with residents
  • Support residents in gardening activities, promoting independence and confidence
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. A National Volunteer Police Check will also be required.

Additional Information:

Volunteers are encouraged to commit to a regular schedule, which can include weekdays between 9am-4pm. We welcome volunteers aged 18 or older with a National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare.
