Gardens and Grounds Maintenance Team Member

Illawarra Mercury is hiring a Gardens and Grounds Maintenance Team Member in Wollongong. You'll be responsible for maintaining gardens and lawns at residential and commercial sites. Training will be provided if needed.
OverviewJoin our team to deliver reliable, high-quality grounds maintenance across a range of sites including strata blocks, industrial estates, commercial businesses, councils, parks, and disability support facilities.
Responsibilities- Maintain gardens and lawns at residential and commercial sites.
- Operate relevant equipment (training provided if needed).
- Support overall grounds maintenance tasks as part of a small team.
- Background in property or garden maintenance, including lawn and weed identification.
- Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
- Valid driver's licence – minimum P2; confident towing a trailer.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills; ability to prioritise tasks within a small team.
- Willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check and/or Working with Children Check; hold or be willing to obtain these checks.
