Job Description

Join residents as they contribute to planting and maintaining cottage gardens. Bring fun and energy while helping guide people to enjoy the satisfaction of seeing their garden grow. Perhaps you have a background in horticulture or just have a green thumb?

You will help older residents maintain their mobility as well as improve their health and wellbeing while having fun

Your Impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Requirements


• 18 years or older

• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

• NDIS Worker Screening Check

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time for volunteering between Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm.
