Senior Earth Science Professional

We are seeking a Geologist to join our Water Resources Team. The ideal candidate will have strong academic and professional knowledge in geology, earth science, geochemistry, or hydrology.
The selected individual will be involved in the design and/or execution of fieldwork programs, including drilling supervision, soil testing and sampling, groundwater monitoring and sampling, and groundwater well installation and hydraulic testing.
- Critical analysis and assessment of geological data;
- Geospatial analysis – including GIS and 3D modelling;
- Conceptual assessment of groundwater flow, fate and transport;
- Quantitative assessments of flow, fate and transport using numerical modelling tools – SEEPW, HYDRUS, MODFLOW, GoldSim;
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting deadlines and budgets, and traveling to client facilities as needed;
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with demonstrated success in teamwork and experience working with multi-disciplinary project teams;
- Ability to learn and adapt new software and technologies, such as Leapfrog, ArcGIS, QGIS, and Surfer;
