The RoleAs a Vacation Student or Graduate Engineer and Geoscientist, you will be involved in a mix of field and office work supporting clients in the mining, transportation, pipeline, energy, and community sectors. Your tasks will include:
- Field Work
- Site investigations (drilling, test pitting, field mapping, geophysical surveys, instrumentation installation, river/stream inspection, engineering geology assessment)
- Construction monitoring
- Office Work
- Reporting and interpretation of field data
- Engineering/geoscience analysis
- Material/site characterization
- Interpretation of instrumentation data
- Contribution to designs
Your responsibilities will include:
- Geotechnical investigation, assessment, design, and construction monitoring at mine sites
- Geotechnical, engineering geology, and water resource assessments
- Surface and groundwater assessments
