Careers: Senior Digital Collections Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Librarian to join our team in the role of Digital Curation Specialist. This pivotal position plays a vital role in enhancing the management of born-digital and digitized archives and special collections.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-design and implement processes and platforms for managing digital content throughout its lifecycle.
- Develop and implement digital curation capacity and capability within the library.
- Collaborate with teams to design and deliver digital content workflows, online communication tools, and metadata management systems.
- Provide expert advice on copyright, privacy, licensing, and cultural access protocols.
- Lead cross-team projects, including developing and implementing communications, change, and training plans.
For this role, you will hold an archives, library or information management degree/qualification, with relevant digital curation experience. You will possess well-developed digital skills, ideally including experience with collections management systems, metadata management for discovery and access, digital content workflows, and online communication tools.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the ability to produce high-quality reports, procedures, and documentation. You must also possess high-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work flexibly and independently in a changing environment.
Requirements:- Archives, library or information management degree/qualification.
- Relevant digital curation experience.
- Well-developed digital skills, including experience with collections management systems, metadata management for discovery and access, digital content workflows, and online communication tools.
- Expertise in copyright, privacy, licensing, and cultural access protocols.
- Proven experience leading cross-team projects.
